Maurice The LoveLight Board has decided to honor, at STARCHILD, some very special people who have been associated with LoveLight over the years and have left a legacy of kindness, caring, and compassion. One of these wonderful individuals is Maurice “Uncle Mo” Drake, known for his positive outlook, dedication to healthy lifestyle, love for others, and appreciation of nature. Would you like to make a positive difference in the life of a child and provide a solid foundation for their future success?

ChildIf so, please join LoveLight, Inc. as a co-creator of STARCHILD, a model intergenerational childcare/child development and lifelong learning center in the Kent area. The Center will also:

  • support the mental, emotional, & physical health of the senior citizens (“Golden Treasures”) who will be sharing their time, talents, & love with the children
  • provide a permanent home for LoveLight, a non-profit that has been serving the community for 28 years
  • enable Lovelight to expand its programs & services
  • provide valuable experience for college students & support businesses in northeast Ohio
  • We need your help to raise the $ to get the loan to buy the property.
